Subscription & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Buildmerce recurring plans renew, how to cancel them and what happens to licenses, updates and Pro entitlements when a subscription ends.

Last updated September 11, 2026Contact Buildmerce

1. Recurring products

A product is recurring only when the product page or checkout clearly identifies it as a subscription and shows the billing interval, such as monthly or annual billing. One-time purchases do not become subscriptions merely because they include a limited support or update period.

2. Merchant of record and billing

Buildmerce subscriptions purchased through Lemon Squeezy are billed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes the payment method, taxes, receipts and customer billing functions associated with the transaction.

3. Automatic renewal

Unless canceled, a recurring plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method maintained with the merchant of record. The renewal amount is based on the price and terms applicable to the subscription, subject to any lawful price change notice.

4. How to cancel

You may cancel a recurring subscription before the next renewal through the customer-management options made available by Lemon Squeezy, a link in your order or subscription communication where available, or by contacting Buildmerce support at fasstech.soft@gmail.com.

Do not wait until the renewal date if you already know you do not want another term. Requests received after a renewal has been processed are handled under the Refund Policy rather than treated as retroactive cancellations.

5. Effect of cancellation

  • Cancellation prevents the next scheduled renewal.
  • Unless a refund or product-specific rule says otherwise, paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period.
  • At the end of the paid term, subscription-only Pro features, hosted services, private updates or license entitlements may expire or become limited as described on the product page.
  • Data needed for purchase records, fraud prevention, license history or legal obligations may be retained after cancellation under the Privacy Policy.

6. Failed payments and past-due subscriptions

If a renewal payment fails, the merchant of record may retry payment or place the subscription into a past-due, paused, canceled or expired state. Buildmerce entitlements may follow the status received from the payment provider.

We are not responsible for a failed renewal caused by an expired card, bank decline, unsupported payment method or inaccurate billing information, but we will reasonably help identify the subscription status.

7. Price changes

Buildmerce may change subscription prices prospectively. Where notice is legally or contractually required, the change will be communicated before it applies to a future renewal. A price change does not authorize an undisclosed retroactive charge.

8. Refunds after renewal

Canceling and requesting a refund are separate actions. Refund requests for a renewal are reviewed under the Refund Policy and merchant-of-record rules. Prompt requests with no material post-renewal use may receive different consideration from subscriptions that have been actively used after renewal.

9. Reactivation

Where the payment provider and product support reactivation, a canceled or expired subscription may be resumed or purchased again. Restored access can require a new entitlement refresh or license activation.
