1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Websites can also use local storage, session storage, pixels or similar technologies to remember state, secure sessions, measure activity or provide embedded services. This policy uses “cookies” as a convenient term for these technologies.
2. Buildmerce website cookies
The public Buildmerce storefront is designed to work without advertising cookies or third-party behavioral profiling. Essential infrastructure may still use short-lived technical data needed for routing, abuse prevention, session security or reliable delivery.
- Essential security and session technologies: used where necessary for secure administrative access, authentication or protected customer workflows.
- Infrastructure technologies: hosting or security providers may process request information to deliver pages, mitigate attacks and maintain service reliability.
3. Third-party checkout
When you open or use a Lemon Squeezy checkout, customer portal or payment page, Lemon Squeezy may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie practices. Those technologies are controlled by Lemon Squeezy, not by Buildmerce.
4. Analytics and marketing technologies
Buildmerce does not currently intend to rely on third-party advertising cookies as a requirement for purchasing our software. If we introduce optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking that requires consent in a user’s jurisdiction, we will update this policy and implement the appropriate notice or consent mechanism before relying on that technology.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers let you delete or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent secure admin, checkout, customer-portal or authenticated functions from working correctly. Third-party checkout preferences may need to be managed through the relevant provider or browser settings.
6. Do Not Track and similar signals
Browser privacy signals are evolving and are not implemented uniformly across all services. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a legally binding preference signal, we will take reasonable steps to honor it for processing under our control.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our cookie or tracking practices materially change. Questions can be sent to fasstech.soft@gmail.com.
