Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Websites can also use local storage, session storage, pixels or similar technologies to remember state, secure sessions, measure activity or provide embedded services. This policy uses “cookies” as a convenient term for these technologies.

The Buildmerce storefront uses essential technical storage and infrastructure where needed for secure administration, routing, abuse prevention, protected customer workflows and reliable delivery. These technologies are not used for third-party behavioral advertising.

• Security and session technologies: used where necessary for secure administrative access, authentication, licensing or protected customer workflows.
• Infrastructure technologies: hosting, database and security providers may process request information to deliver pages, mitigate attacks and maintain service reliability.
• Consent preference storage: Buildmerce stores your analytics choice in browser local storage so the site can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics.

We use Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage is denied by default until you choose “Accept analytics.” If you accept, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and related analytics identifiers and may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information, browser and device characteristics, referrer information and interaction events.

When analytics storage is denied, the Google tag may still receive limited cookieless measurement signals as supported by Google Consent Mode, but Buildmerce does not grant analytics cookie storage until you accept. Google processes analytics information under its own privacy terms.

On your first eligible visit, Buildmerce presents a choice to accept analytics or reject optional analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from browsing the site or purchasing Buildmerce products.

You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the website footer. If you reject after previously accepting, Buildmerce updates Google Consent Mode to deny analytics storage and attempts to remove Buildmerce-domain Google Analytics cookies accessible to the site.

When you open or use a Lemon Squeezy checkout, customer portal or payment page, Lemon Squeezy may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie practices. Those technologies are controlled by Lemon Squeezy, not by Buildmerce, and its checkout may present separate privacy or consent controls.

Most browsers let you delete or block cookies and site storage. Blocking essential technologies may prevent secure admin, checkout, customer-portal or authenticated functions from working correctly. Third-party checkout preferences may need to be managed through the relevant provider or browser settings.

Browser privacy signals are evolving and are not implemented uniformly across all services. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a legally binding preference signal, we will take reasonable steps to honor it for processing under our control.
