1. Digital-product purchases
Buildmerce products are digital goods that can be delivered immediately as downloads, license keys or online entitlements. Because digital content cannot be physically returned, refund decisions depend on the reason for the request, the product’s use and applicable law.
Buildmerce generally asks customers to submit refund requests within 14 calendar days of the original purchase. This is our normal review window, not a waiver of any mandatory legal right you may have.
2. Situations that are generally eligible for review
- You were charged more than once for the same intended purchase.
- Delivery failed and we cannot provide the purchased download, license or entitlement within a reasonable time.
- The product has a reproducible critical defect that prevents the core advertised functionality and we cannot provide a reasonable fix or workaround after appropriate troubleshooting.
- The product was materially misdescribed, or its published compatibility information was materially inaccurate at the time of purchase.
- A renewal or transaction was processed incorrectly because of a confirmed billing or system error.
3. Situations that are generally not refundable
- Change of mind after downloading, activating or materially using the software.
- Buying the wrong product or license tier when the relevant information was clearly available before checkout.
- A feature is missing when that feature was never advertised or documented as included.
- Conflicts caused by unsupported platform versions, custom code, third-party extensions, server configuration or themes outside the published requirements.
- Inability or unwillingness to follow installation, troubleshooting or compatibility instructions.
- Requests based on a third-party platform changing its own product, API, pricing, policies or availability after purchase.
- License suspension caused by unauthorized sharing, redistribution, fraud or another material violation of Buildmerce terms.
4. Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record
A Buildmerce policy cannot remove rights or discretion that Lemon Squeezy or applicable law independently provides. Refunds approved through the merchant of record are returned through the original payment method subject to payment-network processing times.
5. Subscriptions and renewals
Canceling a subscription stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund the current paid term. A recent renewal refund may be considered when requested promptly, especially where there has been no material post-renewal use, download or activation, but approval is not guaranteed unless required by law.
See the Subscription & Cancellation Policy for renewal, expiration and cancellation details.
6. How to request a refund
Email fasstech.soft@gmail.com with the purchase email address, order identifier, product name and a concise explanation of the issue. For technical claims, include relevant platform versions and reasonable troubleshooting information, but never send passwords or private keys.
We may ask you to complete a reasonable troubleshooting step before deciding a defect-based request. This helps distinguish a product defect from an environmental conflict and can often resolve the issue faster than a refund.
7. Effect of a refund on licenses and access
A full refund normally ends the corresponding software license, update entitlement, subscription and download rights. Buildmerce may suspend or revoke the related license after the refund is confirmed. A partial refund may result in an adjusted plan or entitlement where appropriate.
You must stop using and distributing refunded software to the extent required by the applicable Software License Terms.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact Buildmerce or Lemon Squeezy before filing a chargeback when the problem can reasonably be resolved through support or a refund request. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks can lead to suspension of licenses and future purchasing privileges, subject to applicable law and merchant-of-record rules.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits a statutory right that cannot legally be excluded. Some jurisdictions provide special rules for digital content, including rules about immediate delivery and withdrawal rights. Where mandatory law gives you a stronger remedy than this policy, the mandatory law controls.
